Fresh Cranberry Sauce

This is the easiest cranberry sauce recipe and it's found right on the bag!

1 12-oz. bag of fresh cranberries
1 cup water
1 cup sugar

Rinse berries and discard any which are soft or shriveled.

Place in a shallow saucepan and add water and sugar. Stir to combine.

Let come to a simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally. Let cook 18 - 20 minutes until cranberries begin to pop and mixture begins to thicken.

Let cool slightly and then refrigerate until ready to serve.

  1. Why would you buy canned when you have this simple recipe? Thanks Lolly.
